Through the generosity of a donor, we were able to start construction on house number 4 at Grace Orphanage. This will enable us to take 18 more children off the street – our Mission in DRC.
We are very excited, however, we still have to raise funds for the basic needs of the children like beds, mattresses, mosquito nets, clothing, school supplies, medical check-ups, toiletries, etc. Join us to be part of this life-changing project. Giving Orphans a home is only possible through the continued and very generous support of our donors – THANK YOU!
Construction on House #4 Progressing Well

We are so humbled by the generosity of our donors. An amazing family donated the funds to build house number 4 at the orphanage. Construction started in January and the team is now working on inside finishing. Our schedule is to have the house completed this summer and then we can start to take children off the street and give them a loving home. We know that we cannot change the world, but we can change the world for these 18 children.
A Life Transformed

Born in Muranvia, Sadiki’s father was captured by soldiers while hunting in Kahuzi Biega National Park. His mother went to look for her husband and was never seen again. A sick, old woman in the village was trying to care for Sadiki when Grace Ministries found him. He was in a desperate state, malnourished, with no family, and without hope. That was 11 years ago.
His life changed when Grace Orphanage took him in, and through the generosity of our donors, he received a loving home, nutritious food, and an education. He graduated from secondary school in 2020 and is currently studying Business at a local university. His dream is to help at the orphanage with all business aspects. Truly a life transformed through kindness.
We Are Nearing Completion of the Largest Project That We Have Ever Attempted

Finishing touches are underway at the Reading Centre, or rather a Learning Centre. This project will be an opportunity for Grace Orphanage to impact the community around the orphanage. Our plan is to teach widows and single moms to read, and basic math skills, and after 3 months, add the teaching of business principles. The 9-month program will end with a micro business loan to help each of the women start her own business.
Through the generosity of Shift Energy Group in Nanaimo, we are designing a solar system that will supply power to the Orphanage. For the first time, they will have the ability to cook with electricity. Not only is this sustainable, clean energy, but it will also protect the health of our children and staff who will not have to be exposed to the risks of charcoal cooking.
Malaria is Still a Major Challenge in Congo

Malaria is still one of the leading causes of child mortality worldwide, killing an estimated 1,320 children daily. Every 2 minutes a child under 5 dies of malaria. The challenge at Grace Orphanage is no different. Six years ago a 16-year-old girl who volunteered at Grace Orphanage died from Malaria. We have been very fortunate with no Malaria fatalities at the orphanage, however, children are hospitalized on a regular basis. These infections are fatal for many families in Congo who cannot afford hospitalization. Thank you again to our donors who are saving lives through their generosity.
